Fact of the Day:
The Department of Forensic Medicine at Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland holds a collection of formaldehyde preserved tattoos taken from local prisoners and other autopsy subjects at the turn of the 20th century. The collection was created in an attempt to decipher connections and coded language between criminals which could determine traits, history, place of residence, criminal group and even temper.

And this is the Warsaw Mermaid believed to live in the Vistula River and take care of the city whenever it’s in need.

Yay, I’m so happy I live in such pretty city. And I’m happy that my college classes are situated across the MOST beautiful parts of it.
Finally figured out every single thing about my new regifted fancy camera! Went to a park with my hot friend Joanna and took some photos, including those to put on Etsy for the hat listing.
Don’t we look similar? When we were in elementary, we even had identical hairstyles for a while and I would always say that we look like sisters.
Yesterday. I drove with my mom and her patient to a hospital at the other side of town, very far away, because I’m AN AWESOME DRIVER and my mom is not. I had to drive them there and drive them back as well, but none of us expected to be waiting there for over 6 hours. Yes, we arrived at the hospital at 9.39 and left around 4 or 5 pm. So I went and bought myself a second breakfast - these berries, peaches and bananas. I hoped we would leave sooner… I got so hungry I had to eat 2 bananas. I guess I’ve had enough of them, like for a lifetime.
Also, I possess extraordinary crafting skills, crafting of anything! Like wreaths. THIS COULD BE A CROWN, WITH JEWELS, FOR A FAIRY~ :333
Proudly wearing my Warsaw Uprising Anniversary shirt. It says “volunteer” on the back. Volunteer of the Warsaw Rising Museum, for a couple of years now :)
Yeah, right. But when you have Warsaw plates and you drive 79 km/h on a road with speed limit of 80 km/h and others take it out on you because they go 95 km/h… that’s just not cool.
Orange Warsaw Festival, Day 2. I went because I randomly won a double ticket in a radio contest I wasn’t quite aware of. So I took my friend - the only one that could come ;_; - and saw Lipali, Cypress Hill and The Offspring, the last one being the best one. There was Fatboy Slim, or Fatslim Boy - whatever - after The Offspring, but weren’t interested enough to stay for that.
But, people of Poland, or nearby countries, I must tell you one thing: if you want to get a ticket for a concert that takes place in the National Stadium in Warsaw, be aware of the very shitty acoustics of this place! Get yourself a ticket for the pitch or, if you can afford it, the golden circle right at the stage, because if you buy yourself a ticket for any of the sitting sectors, you’ll be disappointed. I fortunately didn’t spend a penny on that ticket, but if I had… I’d be quite pissed.
The last two photos are what we saw on our way back - we had to walk a couple of miles on foot because we didn’t want to wait almost half an hour for a tram. There’s the colorful pretty many bridges on the river of Vistula (pretty reflections in the water!) and then there’s Palace of Culture and Science, which was rainbow-y again, but just for a couple of minutes. I don’t know on what occasions exactly they illuminate it in rainbow. Usually it’s single-colored. But it’s so pretty this way! And gay.
My photoset: The Yellow Stuff.
Forsythia is a small bush that blooms in yellow before developing leaves in the early spring. It’s everywhere in Warsaw, because it’s pretty and non-demanding.Definitely adds color to the sometimes dull surroundings.

My homework : visiting Warsaw Lazienki.
I love classes in British Literature
Wow, it seems you’re the only person who actually went there when she told us to XD no one from my group did it. I however had a good enough memory to save us from perishing, because I vaguely remembered the sculptures from the last time I was there… in summer XD
